1. Download from the official 4Desk site

Use the 4Desk downloads page and the current published Windows installer. Avoid copying installers from unrelated mirrors or old support folders.

2. Install on the intended workshop workstation

Run the installer on the Windows computer that will be used for supported remote work. Complete the normal Windows setup flow and keep the workstation on a stable network.

Keep the support workstation on external power during longer diagnostic or programming work.

3. Open 4Desk and verify the visible state

After installation, open 4Desk and confirm that the account, release and session information shown by the application matches the intended support workflow before starting a remote session.

Keep vehicle procedures separate

Installing 4Desk does not replace diagnostic-tool setup, OEM programming requirements, battery-support procedures or vehicle-specific preparation.

When to use Quick Support instead

If a customer only needs an attended temporary support session, use the Quick Support workflow rather than installing the full technician application where that is appropriate for the support case.
