Who operates 4Desk

4Desk is operated by GarageOS, Cairo, Egypt. Privacy questions and data-rights requests may be sent to info@garageos.pro.

For privacy purposes, GarageOS is the service operator and primary contact for 4Desk. No company registration number or VAT/tax number is currently listed for the service.

Information we process

• Account information such as email address and authentication state.
• Device and installation information, including device identity/fingerprint data, PC Code, registration state and app version.
• Network and operational data such as IP address, derived country, first/last seen timestamps and service health information.
• Licensing and entitlement state, including Trial, Free Limited and Pro status.
• Usage and session metadata needed to operate limits, diagnose service issues and protect the platform.
• Support communications that you choose to send to GarageOS.
• Payment transaction references when PayPal or another payment provider is used; payment-card credentials are handled by the payment provider rather than by 4Desk where applicable.

Why we process it

• Provide and secure 4Desk accounts and remote-support services.
• Register devices and enforce account/device entitlements.
• Operate Trial, Free Limited and Pro functionality.
• Maintain service security, prevent abuse, investigate faults and support users.
• Publish and deliver software updates.
• Meet legal, accounting and compliance obligations where applicable.

Retention

• Account data: while the account is active and for up to 24 months after account closure.
• Device, PC Code and licensing data: while active and for up to 24 months after the related device/account becomes inactive.
• IP, country and adoption analytics: up to 12 months.
• Support/session metadata: up to 12 months where retained.
• Security and operational logs: normally up to 90 days.

Records may be kept longer where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security investigations, disputes, accounting, legal claims or mandatory law.

Sharing and service providers

4Desk may use infrastructure/hosting, email delivery, security, administration and payment providers where necessary to operate the service. When PayPal is offered, PayPal processes payment information under its own privacy terms and 4Desk receives only the transaction/account information needed to confirm payment and provide service.

Provider identities may change as infrastructure changes. GarageOS does not sell personal data to advertisers.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to complain to a competent data-protection authority. Send requests to info@garageos.pro. GarageOS may verify the requester's identity before acting on a request.

Some information may need to be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or establishment/defense of legal claims.

Security

4Desk uses account verification, device registration, signed licensing and other technical/organizational measures intended to protect service integrity. No security control can guarantee absolute protection, and users should keep credentials and devices secure.

International use

GarageOS is established in Egypt and 4Desk may be used internationally. Service providers or infrastructure may process information in other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, GarageOS will use appropriate contractual, technical or provider safeguards.

Cookies and local storage

The public 4Desk site is intended to use only essential cookies or local storage required for functionality and preferences unless additional analytics or non-essential tracking is added and disclosed later. 4Desk does not use advertising cookies by default.
