These Terms govern use of 4Desk hosted services, accounts, licensing, downloads and related GarageOS-operated service features. Open-source license rights for covered software remain governed by the applicable open-source licenses.
4Desk provides remote-support software and related account, device, licensing, update, web-viewer and support services for automotive workshops and technicians. These Terms apply to hosted/commercial services and do not remove rights granted under applicable open-source licenses.
You are responsible for information submitted through your account, protecting access to your email/device, and ensuring use of 4Desk is authorized. Device registration, Trial, Free Limited and Pro status may be managed by 4Desk server-side policies.
You may use 4Desk only to access systems, devices and data you own or are authorized to access. You are responsible for obtaining customer, employee or other required consent before remote control, file transfer, recording or privacy-related features are used.
4Desk may offer Free Limited, Trial and paid/Supporter access. Current $20 and $50 Supporter options are presented as one-time supporter contributions, not recurring subscriptions. There is no automatic renewal for those contributions.
Where PayPal is offered, payment processing is handled by PayPal under its own terms. Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Once paid/Pro access has been activated or materially used, a refund may be limited or refused except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
4Desk is provided on a reasonable-effort basis and no service-level agreement or guaranteed uptime applies unless GarageOS agrees one separately in writing. GarageOS may update, maintain, suspend or discontinue service components where reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance or product changes.
Paid or Supporter access does not by itself create a guaranteed support-response time or managed-support contract unless specifically stated in writing.
Portions of the 4Desk desktop software are derived from RustDesk and are governed by applicable open-source licenses, including GNU AGPL v3 for covered code. Nothing in these service Terms is intended to restrict rights granted by those licenses.
GarageOS may suspend or terminate hosted/service access for abuse, fraud, security risk, non-payment where payment is required, unauthorized access, unlawful conduct, material violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where required by law. Open-source rights in copies of covered software already received remain governed by their licenses.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 4Desk software and hosted services are provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or suitability for every diagnostic, programming or workshop task. Mandatory consumer or statutory rights are not excluded.
Users remain responsible for backups, authorization, vehicle safety procedures, third-party software requirements and professional judgment. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GarageOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from service interruption or use of 4Desk. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
These service Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, subject to any mandatory consumer, privacy or other laws that apply regardless of this choice. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, disputes relating to GarageOS-hosted/commercial services should be brought before the competent courts of Egypt.
